■ Specifications

The compounds of nickel boride are Ni2B and Ni3B. It is a good non-noble metal hydrogen electrode catalyst because it is made simply and cheaply, and has relatively high activity. When it is used as fuel cell trap electrode catalyst, the catalytic activity is about the same as that of noble metals. It is applied in trap-air (oxygen) fuel cells.
